Driven by purpose. Powered by positivity.
For more than 25 years, Melanie has worked in television, radio and live presenting. For seven years, she was a familiar face on New Zealand television as the effervescent host of the Good Morning Show advertorials, broadcasting into thousands of homes each day. Her career has also included radio presenting, modelling, voice work, professional speaking and MC work.
Melanie's understanding of people has been shaped just as much by life beyond the spotlight. She has driven trucks on a Western Australian gold mine, helped run a 1.3 million-acre cattle station, trained Guide Dog puppies and travelled the world as an international flight attendant for Air New Zealand.
For more than 20 years, Melanie has worked closely with families as an experienced funeral celebrant. Walking alongside people through life's most profound moments has given her a unique perspective on what matters, how people connect and what death can teach us about living.
Melanie brings those worlds together as a keynote speaker, MC and facilitator. Warm, polished and engaging, she combines the professionalism of a seasoned broadcaster with the perspective of someone who has spent decades listening to people's stories and witnessing life in all its complexity.
Her work is grounded in a simple belief: positivity is not about pretending everything is perfect. It is about perspective, connection and consciously recognising what is good, beautiful and worth valuing while we have it.
