WHY MELANIE

Melanie is trusted and well-known for her warmth, sincerity, and ability to inspire. Her unique experiences have shaped a deep understanding of life’s beauty and complexity. Walking alongside families in grief as a Funeral Celebrant has crystalised her profound insight into the human experience and taught her the transformative power of Seeing, Seeking, and Sharing Beauty.

 

Once an effervescent host on the Good Morning Show, her professional delivery has been refined over decades in the broadcasting industry; radio and television presentations, modelling, voice work, MCing and motivational talks.

 

Melanie grew up in Taneatua & Ruatoki, she retains a deep love for the Eastern Bay of Plenty, her Turangawaewae. She now lives in beautiful Dunedin, where she and her family are restoring a 100-year-old home.

 

Melanie has lived in the outback of Western Australia on a Gold Mine, driving trucks, and running a 1.3 million-acre Cattle Station. She was the Puppy Development Manager for Guide Dog Services, a Polo Groom, Model, and an International Flight Attendant for Air New Zealand.
